Andrew Aldridge is a fourth generation auctioneer who is widely regarded as the leading authority in the world in the valuation of Titanic memorabilia. He is a specialist in the sale of iconic collector's items and has worked on the sales of numerous world record breaking objects ranging from the most expensive Titanic item of all time at £1.7m to Freddie Mercury's jacket at £110,000.
Andrew's expertise has been sought by museums worldwide and he continues to be in demand globally for his knowledge and expertise. He has a network of media contacts around the world including NBC's Today Programme, Fox and Friends, ABC's Good Morning America and BBC, Sky, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 television in the UK. Andrew has an honours degree in fine arts valuation and was one of the youngest ever members of the Fine Arts Division of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, he is also a member of the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers.
Chrissie Aldridge adds another dimension to the company, prior to the birth of her two children she travelled the world within her role working for a Music Production company but swapped the glamorous locations of Las Vegas and Rome for rural Wiltshire to bring her unique skill set to the family business. Chrissie's dedicated role as Director of Online sales provides Henry Aldridge and Son Ltd with a proven operator for our online business, a vital element of the company which now accounts for over 50% of our auction sales.
