About this Department
The coins and watches department encompasses a wide array of collectable wristwatches and pocket watches, from the 18th century to mid-century military timepieces and more modern names such as Rolex, Omega, Breitling and Cartier. Coins can date from Roman and Celtic through to Proof Gold Presentation pieces and Sovereigns. Buyers from around the world are attracted to our watch and coin sales, which form part of Collectors auctions. Highlights have included the only Omega wristwatch to have survived the Titanic disaster which made £55000, a gold Tiffany pocket watch £68000, a modern Rolex Submariner £14000 and a rare Silver dollar £10000.
